Class Registration and Policies
Online Registration is not available at this time, you must call us to sign-up.
As all classes are of a limited size, registration for any class requires payment in Full which guarantees your spot in that class. Please call Western Art Glass (801) 487-2773 with a credit card number to register. We accept Visa, MC, Discover. Until payment is received, you are not guaranteed a space. When you sign up for a class, we will run your credit card for the class fee and confirm by email. We DO NOT keep your financial information on file, once payment is process. We will also email you a reminder email when closer to class time that will also include addtional information of what you are responsible to bring to the class.
•Classes here at Western Art Glass are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. No exceptions as class sizes are limited and fairness to all. Please keep this in mind when registering and signing up for a class. If you are registering for someone else, you are the one signing them up and you are responsible for that persons registration and following our policy guideline.
Even with a gift certificate all class policies for registering and cancellation still apply and you are still required to call and register as space is limited. Cancellation and rescheduling guidelines still apply when using a gift certificate and or gifted to another individual from you.
If we cancel:
Western Art Glass LLC, reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops if necessary. We require at least 3 paid students for any class. Less than 3 people, in that event, registered students will be offered the option of tranferring their class / workshop fee to another scheduled class or receiving a Full Refund.
If You Cancel:
7 days or more before the start of the class, we will be happy to apply your FULL Registration fee to another workshop OR if you request a refund, a $25 processing fee, we will be applied to your refund. Less than 7 days before the start of a class, if you cancel the $25 cancellation fee will still be applied to your refund. IF we cannot fill your spot, no refund will be given.
In order to keep class costs as low as possible, we make no exceptions to this policy for any reason.
Please understand we are a very small family run business with instructors who schedule to teach a class and share their knowledge with you. The dates are set and when we schedule a class, we have prepared for YOU as a registered paid student to attend all classes for that course. It is difficult to fill a cancelled spot on short notice or if you miss a class, we cannot re create that class time for you.
YOU are in charge of your schedule, if you miss a class, we do not offer make-up classes and we do not prorate any class fees. Please plan to attend all classes you are registered for as those are valuable learning days for information and glass learning techniques.
Unless Specified tools and materials are not included in the class fee, but tools and supplies are available for purchase here at Western Art Glass
*If you have access to any tools, supplies and or materials, you may bring them for your use, but we cannot guaranteed success with the quality of your borrowed from tools.
All and any Fusible Glass must be purchased at Western Art Glass to go into our kilns. We reserve the right to deny any questionable glass for any reason.
**Please keep in mind during all the classes offered, we work with raw cut glass pieces and elements which can be sharp and can cut you. For insurance and liability purposes, anyone under over the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult and or guardian who will accompany them during ALL class hours. Between ages 16 - 18, parent or guardian must sign our supplied release waiver form.
**ALL Registered and Paid students are required to sign a liability and waiver form for every class you sign up for.
