Welcome to our workshops page. We have formatted and planned these workshops to be easy and fun with no experience required for any of the following. Sign-up and come have some fun, it is truly invigorating of what we can help you create in 2 hours!  What you do need to know is that this is not a class, it is a simple hands-on process to create and explore the fun of fusing.  If you do like the concept of fusing, we do of course offer a class that explains the fusing and slumping of glass and you can learn the specifics and technicalities by taking a class at a later time.

For this workshop, you will need to specify what project you are wanting to do. All the project ideas can each be made during any scheduled sign-up time, that much more fun for you to see what everybody else is creating, different ideas, different projects! You cannot mix projects, you must select one.  Because the projects must go through the kiln-firing process, you will have to come back at a later date to pick up your projects. There is limited space in each workshop and a wait-list is available if it is full.  More workshops will be scheduled as needed.

The Christmas Ornaments are seasonal and only available in the October - December workshop schedule.

Young adults from age 12 on up are welcome when accompanied with a guardian.

For Living Social and Big Deal Utah within the deal workshop fee, we have included  the use of our class room tools, unless of course you do have your own tools bring them!  Otherwise, you must rent the tools ($10 rental fee) and or purchase your own for the workshop to create your projects. Also with the daily deal special, projects will immediately go thru their kiln-firing process for you to be able pick up of the projects the following week. We are scheduling each workshop for 2 hour block increments. It may not take you this long to create your art pieces but that will give you plenty of time. No one can have too much jewelry in their collection or always a perfect for gift giving idea for any occasion. You will be able to make 3 pieces. You will create your own glass designs with our help. We have several pre-cut shapes ready or we will help you with your own ideas.  All the glass, bails and or ring hardware and tool use is included in the fee. The hardware is all silver-plated and attached to the finished pendant for you to pick up.  *The Value with all materials, kiln firing and silver bails attached to your pendant in time for pick up.  You may purchase necklace chords or you may use your own.

Who doesnʼt need a one-of-a-kind unique night light! Perfect for a child's room, kitchen, hallways or just for the pleasant glow of a little pleasant light anywhere. You will create 2 nite lites. Class fee includes glass, tool use and the hardware for the nite lite - including the bulb!  Nite Lite has an on-off switch and plugs into a regular household outlet.  A value with materials and hardware including the bulbs all assembled and attached to your project ready for when you pick it up the following week.

A small bowl or plate, itʼs up to you to pick your shape! You will create 1 bowl or 1 plate. The round glass plate or bowl is pre-cut for you and all the help you need as well as the 2 kiln firings (*a $30 value) is required to get the glass formed into the bowl or plate shape. A total value which includes 2 kiln firings and use of a fiber refractory mold and materials with in which to get the glass to take the shape thru the 2 kiln firing process.

 

 

PictureFrame  $60

                                                                               

A perfect compliment for a special picture of fabulous people and or a place in time that makes you smile. A fabulous addition to any picture given to someone special with a custom made frame! You will create 1frame that will accommodate your own 4 x 6 pictures of course!  You create the design and the finished frame is accompanied with an acrylic piece that holds and protects your picture and an angled easel to display nicely wherever you choose to show it off. A value with kiln firing, materials and all supplies to complete 1 picture frame.

 

Christmas Ornaments $55

Come and have fun decorating your own personalized Christmas ornaments or use them as imitation Christmas cookies for a fun table décor idea.  Some initial shapes will be pre-cut for you but you will be required to do some glass cutting as per your own creative endeavors.  You will make 4 ornaments. Get some one-of-a-kind ornaments for your self or give them as fabulous Christmas gifts.
