Registration Policies

Registration & Payment:


Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. To register for a class, please call Western Art Glass at (801) 487-2773. Internet sign-up is not availble. Classes are limited in size and payment in full is expected at the time of registration. We accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or Discover Card. Debit is preferred. Your card will be charged for the full registration fee when you call to register. Once payment is received, you will be sent an email confirmation of your registration. Tools, supplies and or materials that are your responsibity need to be purchased before the start of class time.

NOTE: We do not keep your financial information on file after payment processes.



Due to the classroom size and in consideration of students who have paid to participate in a class, PAID students only are allowed during class time. The store will be closed and locked during classes and no additional persons can wait in that space during student class time.

Cancellation and Sick Policy:

For a consecutive weekly class and or a class taught by a representative of Western Art Glass: If the cancellation request is made more than 10 days before the first day of class, you will be refunded the class fee minus a $30 processing fee. Students who cancel class 10 days or less before the start of class are not entitled to a refund unless the spot is filled less the $30 processing fee. No refund, class transfer or store credit will be issued to any student after the first class has been held. If a student misses any class times, it is not a guarantee to be able to schedule private class time to get caught up and us usually not availble to do so. If time is available to schedule, a $50 studio fee will be charged for each session up to 1 hour. Each addtional hour is $25.

Materials:


Unless specified, tools, materials and supplies are not included in any class fee. All tools, supplies and materials used in the registered for class are available for purchase at Western Art Glass.  You are welcome to bring your own tools, supplies and materials (unless otherwise noted) however, we cannot guarantee success as the quality of those materials, supplies and tools may vary. As for fusing and kiln forming classes, all fusible glass must be purchased at Western Art Glass. Under NO circumstances will random glass be ALLOWED to go into the kiln. NO.

NOTE: All fusible glass going into our kilns must be purchased at Western Art Glass. We reserve the right to deny any questionable fusible embellishments of any kind for any reason.

Visiting Instructor Registration:


In the unlikely reason Western Art Glass and or any visiting instructor must cancel the class you will receive a Full 100% Class Fee & Material Refund. *No Travel Reimbursement.

If you cancel your spot in the class 10 days or more before the start of the class, a refund minus a $30 processing fee will be given to you. If you wish to cancel your registration less than 10 days before the start of of the class, a refund will be given only if your spot can be replaced and or filled. There are no exceptions to this policy. When you register for a class, we plan on you coming and plan way in advance for materials for you to attend. *No travel reimbursement applies whatsoever.
